Presenter: Todd Kruse- Professor at Inver Hills Community College
This session will review economic trends including automation, trade, talent, artificial intelligence and government policies. Come hear how these things can impact daily business decisions and learn how to stay on top of emerging trends!
Following graduation from Iowa State University, Todd worked on a U.S. Senate campaign in Iowa, lobbied at the Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin legislatures, and provided public affairs consulting services to corporate and trade association clients in the USA, Canada and the European Union. His specialties are in: government relations, strategic alliances, direct lobbying, employee training, economic development, political campaigns, research (corporate intelligence, political and marketing studies), community relations, working with public policy organizations and client management. Since 2009, he has been an adjunct college instructor in addition to his consulting projects.
